What is your job on this show?
Director.
Where were you born? Where were you raised? Where did you go to school?
I was born in Boston, and my parents moved to Venezuela when I was very young. Did all my basic schooling in Caracas and most of my film and Theater college studies happened between Caracas and NYC, where i have lived for 10 years already. So I have spent my whole life in big cities!
If you're a New Yorker: why is FringeNYC an important part of the summer theater scene?
Indie Theater is always happening in NYC, but it always feels very underground, very hidden. The Fringe NYC, I feel, brings it to the spotlight!
Why did you want to write/direct/produce/act in/work on this show?
I fell in love with the play when directing a reading! It is a play about service, about passion, about following your true self, and I think it's a struggle we all go through. Being a comedy, makes it that much more fun, because we are talking about serious stuff in a very funny way!
Which “S” word best describes your show: SMOOTH, SEXY, SMART, SURPRISING?
Smart
If you had ten million dollars that you had to spend on theatrical endeavors, how would you use the money?
I would create a small village, in the middle of brooklyn, where everything that happens everyday is a comedic reality, unscripted, with the most talented improv comedians, playing out the first world problems that we encounter in NYC on daily bases, and contrasting them with real world problems that other humans do have in other places in the world.
