DIE: Roll to Proceed q&a preview by Joe Kurtz
October 22, 2012

What is your job on this show?
Playwright & Actor.

What type of theater do you like most to work on?
I like to work on theater that I would want to watch. If I'm having fun putting it together, laughing in rehearsal at jokes I've heard a hundred times, I feel good about what I'm doing and confident that an audience is going to like it as well.

Complete this sentence: My show is the only one opening in NYC this fall that...?
You can see 240 times and never see exactly the same show twice...or you could see exactly the same show all 240 times, depends on the die roll.

Are there any cautions or warnings you’d like to make about the show (e.g., not appropriate for little kids)?
There's cursing throughout the show so bring the kids! They gotta learn those words sometime.

Groucho, Chico, Harpo, or Zeppo?
I've always been a Harpo guy.

Can theater bring about societal change? Why or why not?
Sure, but this isn't that kind of show.
