Gayuranus, the Musical q&a preview by R.J. VerChaud
January 9, 2013

What is your job on this show?

What is your show about?
This show is a hilarious spin on the power of love.

Where were you born? Where were you raised? Where did you go to school?
I was born in and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. when I decided to make theatre my life, I attended Eastern New Mexico University.

What are some of your previous theater credits? (Be specific! Name shows, etc.)
The most recent shows I have done, include; Rent, The Wedding Singer, and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.

How did you meet your fellow artists/collaborators on this show?
Some of the cast I knew from prior shows, but for the most part we all just met. We are not only a cast but a family!

Which cartoon character would you identify your show with: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Mickey Mouse, Marge Simpson?
I would say Daffy or Bugs. The show is very whacky and looney. It is very clear that the cast is having a blast.

If you had ten million dollars that you had to spend on theatrical endeavors, how would you use the money?
My ten million dollars would all got to the theater arts funding in schools. I believe that todays young people need the chance to explore the options the theatre world has to offer.
