What is your job on this show?
Actress.
Do you like to read plays, or just perform them?
I like to read quite a lot. I feel that people don't read enough nowadays and to me its a little sad because reading does to the mind what the gym does to your muscles, it works them out. In my opinion, the magic we see on stage, it all sets outs as a vision in someones mind and then its put on paper and eventually given life on stage. Its an amazing process. Some of my favorite playwrights are of course Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, Jose rivera and there isn't enough space here.
Who is more important in the theater: the actor, the playwright, or the director?
Is this a tricky question? lol, They are all important to get a great final product. From my perspective, when your part of a project especially in theatre. The bonds you create among everyone involved is almost like family ties. Its important to have good actors that have the dedication, respect and passion to carry out the playwrights vision. And the director must also be on board to guide these actors and give justice to whats written.
In your own words, what do you think this show is about? What will audiences take away with them after seeing it?
I think everyone can relate to at least some part of this show. It has a deeper meaning, it entertains but it also makes you think. About life and how the people in your life can cause either positive or negative impacts in it. I hope the audience members walk away laughing because they can relate to some of the things that we will do, or cry because they have been there in that state of mind, or just walk away in awe because too many emotions were thrown out there. Its live and its impossible to not be affected. Thats what i hope happens.
Which famous New Jerseyite would like your show the best: Snooki, Bruce Springsteen, Thomas Edison?
I feel Bruce Springsteen would love this american modern piece of work and all the elements involved in it that make it wonderful.
Who are your heroes?
God above all, without his blessings i wouldn't be able to be who i am and where i am. Then my parents, husband and friends they are my pillar they keep me going everyday and support me.
