Bogosity q&a preview by Simcha Borenstein
June 3, 2013

What is your job on this show?
Playwright / Reluctant Producer.

What is your show about?
Politics behind a struggling dance class.

When did you know you wanted to work in the theater, and why?
I wanted to be an actor at around four or five. It was the only thing that looked like fun.

Complete this sentence: My show is the only one opening in NYC this spring that...?
is this good with such a low ticket price.

How did you meet your fellow artists/collaborators on this show?
I met Carlo Fiorletta doing readings with Bravo Theater Company many years ago. We have collaborated a million times since then (that may not be an exaggeration). He showed BOGOSITY to Noemi de la Puente who directed a reading of it. Then Noemi asked me to be in RIGHT ON TARGET which she was directing for the Fringe and Janet S. Kim was a fellow cast member in that.

Which cartoon character would you identify your show with: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Mickey Mouse, Marge Simpson?
Bugs Bunny. Really conniving and always getting Elmer to shoot the other guy.

If you had ten million dollars that you had to spend on theatrical endeavors, how would you use the money?
I'd buy a theater and spend the rest on publicity. Oh yeah and pay the actors.
