What is your job on this show?
What type of theater do you like most to work on?
The type of theater that is created around finding the truest expression of the spirit, the type of theater that is less concerned with Modern Man or Woman in Society and more concerned with the Man and Woman That Came From Dirt.
If you're a New Yorker: why is FringeNYC an important part of the summer theater scene?
FringeNYC gives audiences an opportunity to enjoy a banquet of new theatrical works in a world where imitation of what has been seen before is more often available.
Do you think the audience will talk about your show for 5 minutes, an hour, or way into the wee hours of the night?
Whether they talk or not, hopefully it'll hit them viscerally. Rachel, the playwright, once described the desired effect as walking away from the theater as walking, walking, walking and then walking through a crowd of pigeons that suddenly swoop up and out all at once, making a great wind.
Which famous New Jerseyite would like your show the best: Snooki, Bruce Springsteen, Thomas Edison?
Bruce Springsteen, because this show has rhythm and soul.
Why should people come to FringeNYC this summer, rather than the beach, mountains, or the latest movie blockbuster?
To see what's going on in the hearts of the people.
